Top Gainers and Losers on December 10, 2025: Eicher Motors Leads Gainers, Indigo Tops Losers

Sensex and Nifty closed lower before the Fed policy update. Eicher Motors led the gainers, while Indigo was the biggest loser in a mixed market session.

The benchmark indices ended Wednesday’s session in the red as investors stayed cautious ahead of the US Federal Reserve’s policy announcement. The Sensex closed at 84,391.27, slipping 275.01 points (0.32%), while the Nifty50 settled at 25,758, down 81.65 points (0.32%).

  • Eicher Motors opened at ₹7,129.50, hit a high of ₹7,294, and closed at ₹7,233 with a 1.54% gain, trading 6.26 lakh shares worth ₹45,331.02 lakh.
  • Hindalco opened at ₹816.05, touched a high of ₹831.75, and ended at ₹821.60, rising 1.07% with 52.80 lakh shares traded worth ₹43,545.57 lakh.
  • HDFC Life began at ₹759, scaled to ₹775.90, and closed at ₹771, gaining 1.06% on a volume of 16.67 lakh shares worth ₹12,857.47 lakh.
  • Tata Steel opened at ₹161, recorded a high of ₹163.68, and settled at ₹162, up 0.83%, with 2.25 crore shares traded worth ₹36,571.68 lakh.
  • Sun Pharma opened at ₹1,787.90, made a high of ₹1,791.70, and closed at ₹1,788.50, gaining 0.70% with 23.21 lakh shares traded worth ₹41,341.01 lakh.

  • Eternal declined 3.09% to ₹282.70, trading 2.06 crore shares worth ₹59,082.26 lakh, after hitting a low of ₹282.
  • Trent dropped 1.77% to ₹4,013, with 7.37 lakh shares traded worth ₹29,968.55 lakh.
  • Adani Enterprises fell 1.39% to ₹2,213.90, trading 9.35 lakh shares valued at ₹20,938.08 lakh.
  • JSW Steel dipped 1.31% to ₹1,093.30, with 12.22 lakh shares traded worth ₹13,476.13 lakh.

Conclusion

Markets remained cautious as investors awaited cues from the US Federal Reserve, resulting in a subdued session for Indian indices. While a few heavyweight stocks like Eicher Motors and Hindalco posted solid gains, weakness in aviation, retail, and metals dragged the indices down.
