Suzlon Energy Share Price in Focus; Wins New 250 MW Wind Order from Torrent Green Energy

Suzlon Energy has received a 250 MW wind order from Torrent Green Energy, a Torrent Group company. This is the sixth order Suzlon has received from Torrent, taking their total partnership to more than 1.3 GW, as per the exchange filing.  

The new project will be spread across Gujarat, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh.   

76 Wind Turbines to Be Supplied 

Under the order, Suzlon will supply 76 of its S144 wind turbine generators. The company will also provide grid integration services and long-term operation and maintenance services for the project.  

Partnership Crosses 1.3 GW 

This is the sixth order from Torrent Green Energy to Suzlon. After this order, the total capacity covered by the partnership has reached 1,306 MW. The projects are spread across Gujarat, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh.

Suzlon Energy Share Price Performance 

As of August 25, 2026, at 1:15 PM, Suzlon Energy share price was trading at ₹46.54 per share, reflecting a decline of 1.08% from the previous trading session. 

Conclusion 

Suzlon has received another 250 MW order from Torrent Green Energy. The new order takes their total partnership to more than 1.3 GW and adds to Suzlon's order book for FY27.
