Persistent Systems revenue crossed ₹4,600 crore in the September quarter, up from ₹3,580.72 crore in the same period last year. The company reported revenue of ₹4,663.90 crore for Q2 FY27, but its net profit was lower at ₹351.51 crore against ₹471.47 crore a year earlier.

The first-half figures tell a similar story. Revenue increased to ₹8,967.13 crore in April-September FY27, while net profit fell to ₹834.56 crore from ₹896.60 crore.

Quarterly Expenses Rise to ₹4,235 Crore

Persistent Systems’ total expenses stood at ₹4,234.66 crore in Q2 FY27, compared with ₹3,015.66 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Total income rose to ₹4,688.35 crore from ₹3,632.50 crore.

Profit before tax was ₹453.68 crore, down from ₹616.83 crore a year earlier. The fall in pre-tax earnings came alongside the increase in expenses, even as revenue recorded double-digit growth.

First-Half Net Profit Falls to ₹835 Crore

For the six months ended September 2026, total income reached ₹9,062.22 crore, compared with ₹7,020.75 crore in the previous year’s corresponding period. Profit before tax declined to ₹1,076.79 crore from ₹1,172.24 crore.

Net profit for the first half was down around 7% year on year. Revenue growth remained strong, but the company earned less profit than it did during the first six months of FY26.
