Ola Electric has unveiled a new nationwide campaign, #EndICEAge, aimed at accelerating India’s transition from petrol-powered two-wheelers to electric vehicles (EVs).
The initiative highlights the rising cost of petrol and the inconvenience of traditional fuel dependency while encouraging riders to switch to cleaner and more economical electric mobility.
To drive adoption, the company is offering limited-period benefits worth over ₹20,000 for customers purchasing its electric two-wheelers, including the Ola S1 scooters and Roadster motorcycles, until March 16, 2026.
The campaign marks one of the company’s most aggressive promotional pushes to date as competition in India’s EV two-wheeler market intensifies.
As part of the promotional offer, Ola Electric is providing a ₹10,000 cash discount on eligible electric two-wheelers. In addition, buyers will receive an extended eight-year battery warranty, which the company values at up to ₹15,000.
The incentives are designed to reduce the upfront cost of EV ownership, a key barrier to adoption among Indian consumers.
The company’s electric portfolio currently includes the S1 range of scooters and the Roadster series of electric motorcycles, both positioned as technologically advanced alternatives to petrol-powered two-wheelers.
According to the company, these vehicles offer lower operating costs, reduced maintenance, and zero tailpipe emissions, making them an economical option for daily commuting.
Alongside the sales incentives, Ola Electric has launched a social media initiative encouraging new buyers to share their switch from petrol to electric mobility.
Customers who purchase an Ola Electric two-wheeler between now and March 16, 2026, can upload their previous month’s petrol bills on social media, tagging the company and using the hashtag #EndICEAge.
Each day, the company will select 3 standout entries and reimburse the participants by adjusting their petrol expenses against their vehicle payment.
With its #EndICEAge campaign, Ola Electric is combining financial incentives, social engagement, and limited-edition launches to accelerate EV adoption in India. As fuel prices continue to rise and environmental concerns grow, initiatives like this could play a key role in pushing Indian consumers toward electric mobility and reshaping the country’s two-wheeler market.
