NLC India Limited has secured another renewable energy project through its wholly owned subsidiary, NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL), which has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL).
900 MW Solar Project Awarded
The proposed project will be developed by NLC India Renewables Limited, the renewable energy arm of NLC India.
According to the company, the 900 MW solar power project was awarded by GUVNL through a tariff-based competitive bidding process, under which GUVNL will purchase the power generated from the plant.
Competitive Bidding Process
The project was secured after participating in a tariff-based competitive bidding process conducted by GUVNL.
With the issuance of the Letter of Intent, NIRL has been selected to establish the solar project, while GUVNL will serve as the power procurer once the project becomes operational.
