Maruti Suzuki India has initiated the export of its mid-size SUV, Victoris, to global markets. Rebranded as 'Across' for international customers, the vehicle has begun reaching 100 countries, reinforcing the company's export strategy under the 'Make in India, Make for the World' initiative. The initial export batch included over 450 units shipped from Indian ports.
Maruti Suzuki announced on January 16, 2026, that it has commenced exports of the Victoris SUV, with shipments originating from Mundra and Pipavav ports.
The vehicle will be sold internationally under the name 'Across' across approximately 100 nations, including regions in Latin America, the Middle East and Africa.
The move is part of Maruti's continued thrust in the export segment. The company shipped over 4,00,000 vehicles from India in the calendar year 2025, maintaining its position as the leading passenger vehicle exporter from India for the fifth consecutive year.
Launched domestically in September 2025, the Victoris is available in 6 variants: LXI, VXI, ZXI, ZXI(O), ZXI+ and ZXI+(O). It offers 21 configurations and 10 colour choices, including 3 dual-tone and 7 monotone options.
The starting ex-showroom price is ₹10,49,900, and the vehicle is available through all Maruti Suzuki Arena showrooms across India.

Managing Director and CEO Hisashi Takeuchi stated that the Victoris export aligns with the company's long-term strategy of expanding globally. He noted that while India's overall passenger vehicle export industry grew 1.43 times between 2020 and 2025, Maruti Suzuki's exports increased 4.67 times during the same period.
With the inclusion of Victoris in the export portfolio, the company aims to strengthen its brand presence in overseas markets, particularly as it also resumes its footprint in Europe with its electric offering – the e-VITARA.
As of January 16, 2026, at 3:30 PM, Maruti Suzuki India share price on NSE was closed at ₹15,859.00 down by 1.81% from the previous closing price.
Maruti Suzuki’s launch of Victoris exports under the 'Across' name highlights its broadened global engagement. With 450 units already delivered and access to 100 international markets, the brand expands its global mobility footprint in line with its export-led vision.
