
KPI Green Energy Ltd. has received charging permission from the Chief Electrical Inspector (CEIG), Nagpur, for its 100 MW (AC) / 128 MW (DC) grid-connected ground-mounted solar PV project developed for Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MAHAGENCO), as per the exchange filings.
The project has been executed on a turnkey EPC basis at Ramthi, Narkhed, in Nagpur district, Maharashtra, marking a key milestone for the company's renewable energy portfolio.
The company said it has obtained charging permission from the Chief Electrical Inspector, Nagpur, for the commissioned solar power project.
The project comprises 100 MW (AC) and 128 MW (DC) of installed capacity and has been executed under a turnkey EPC model for MAHAGENCO.
With the commissioning approval, KPI Green Energy has established its operational presence in Maharashtra.
The company said the project adds a marquee state utility project to its operating portfolio, expanding its footprint beyond its existing markets.
According to the company, the project reflects its proven capability to execute large-scale, grid-connected solar power projects for reputed public-sector utilities.
The successful execution further strengthens KPI Green Energy's position in India's utility-scale renewable energy sector.
