Juniper Hotels Share Price in Focus; Signs MoU to Acquire Novotel Imagicaa in Khopoli for ₹248 Crore

Juniper Hotels Limited has signed a binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Imagicaaworld Entertainment Limited to acquire the operating Novotel Imagicaa hotel in Khopoli, Maharashtra. The agreement was signed on October 5, 2026, according to the company’s stock exchange filing.  

Novotel Imagicaa has 287 guest rooms and is spread across approximately 11 acres. The property has a built-up area of around 2,80,000 sq. ft. and includes restaurants, banquet and meeting facilities, recreational amenities and other hotel infrastructure. 

₹248 Crore Deal 

The total consideration for the proposed acquisition is ₹248 crore. The amount is subject to tax deduction at source, stamp duty, transaction costs and other adjustments, if any. The acquisition is also subject to the terms and conditions to be included in the definitive documents.  

The hotel is located in Khopoli and the company described the property as being in close proximity to Mumbai. The proposed transaction relates to the acquisition of the operating hotel rather than the purchase of an entity holding the property.  

Board Approval 

Juniper Hotels’ Board of Directors had approved the binding MoU at its meeting held on September 16, 2026. The agreement was subsequently entered into with Imagicaaworld Entertainment Limited, which was previously known as Adlabs Entertainment Limited.  

The seller is not related to Juniper Hotels’ promoter, promoter group or group companies. The company has also stated that the transaction does not fall under related-party transactions. No shares are being issued as part of the transaction.  

Definitive Documents 

Juniper Hotels said the definitive documents are expected to be executed shortly. The company will make further disclosures to the stock exchanges once those documents are signed.

As of October 6, 2026, 10:16 am, Juniper Hotels share price was trading at ₹217.20, a 0.56% increase from the previous closing price.
