
IDFC FIRST Bank reported its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, with net profit more than doubling year-on-year, driven by growth in total income and operating profit. The bank also reported an improvement in its gross and net NPA ratios.
The bank reported net profit of ₹1,074.96 crore, up 132.4% YoY from ₹462.57 crore and 236.9% QoQ from ₹318.94 crore. Profit before tax rose 142.8% YoY and 644.0% QoQ to ₹1,408.69 crore.
Total income increased 12.6% YoY and 9.7% QoQ to ₹13,360.52 crore, while operating profit grew 14.0% YoY and 141.1% QoQ to ₹2,552.57 crore.
Gross NPAs declined to 1.51% from 1.97% a year earlier and 1.61% in the previous quarter. Net NPAs improved to 0.44% compared with 0.55% YoY and 0.48% QoQ.
Gross NPAs stood at ₹4,509.79 crore, while net NPAs were ₹1,286.22 crore at the end of the quarter.
During the quarter, IDFC FIRST Bank received ₹514.82 crore under the Credit Guarantee Fund for Micro Units (CGFMU) Scheme.
The bank also created a voluntary contingency provision of ₹515 crore on a prudent basis, citing evolving macroeconomic and geopolitical uncertainties.

As of July 24 2026, IDFC FIRST Bank share price closed at ₹80.79 per share, reflecting a decline of 1.11% from the previous trading session.
IDFC FIRST Bank reported higher total income, operating profit and net profit for Q1 FY27, while gross and net NPA ratios improved compared with both the year-ago and preceding quarters. The bank also created a voluntary contingency provision of ₹515 crore during the quarter.
