HEG Advanced Materials Share Price in Focus; Arm Replus Engitech and Indus Towers Collaborate on Telecom Energy Storage

Replus Engitech Private Limited, a subsidiary of HEG Advanced Materials Limited, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indus Towers Limited to explore Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions for telecom infrastructure in India. The agreement was announced on September 30, 2026.  

1.5 GWh Capacity Over Two Years 

As part of the proposed arrangement, Replus plans to make available dedicated BESS production capacity of 1.5 GWh over a two-year period. The capacity will be used to address the energy requirements of telecom infrastructure. 

Replus also plans to add higher-capacity battery systems to its telecom energy storage portfolio. The company is exploring technologies such as sodium-ion batteries for telecom applications.  

Replus Has Deployed Over 1 GWh 

Replus works across BESS, telecom energy solutions and e-mobility. It manufactures and deploys Advanced Chemistry Cell (ACC)-based lithium-ion battery systems and also provides system integration, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), operations and maintenance, and lifecycle energy asset management services.  

The company has deployed more than 1 GWh of energy storage capacity across BESS, electric mobility, telecom power solutions and hybrid energy applications in India, according to the company.  

HEG Advanced Materials’ Battery Business 

HEG Advanced Materials has operations spanning advanced battery materials, battery energy solutions and green power.  

The company is also developing an anode materials business, including silicon-based anodes, and has capabilities covering research, product development and commercialisation for the EV, BESS and energy storage sectors.  

What the Agreement Covers 

The collaboration will focus on developing energy storage solutions for telecom infrastructure, while Replus works on additional battery capacity and newer battery technologies.  

The company said the initiative is also linked to increasing domestic manufacturing of energy storage systems.

HEG Advanced Materials Share Price Performance  

As of September 30, 2026, 12:51 pm, HEG Advanced Materials share price was trading at ₹240.25, up 0.84% from the previous closing price. 

Conclusion  

The MoU between Replus Engitech and Indus Towers will focus on BESS solutions for telecom infrastructure. Replus plans 1.5 GWh capacity over two years.
