
Volkswagen Group's e.solutions has announced a strategic partnership with HCLTech to develop next-generation software-defined infotainment and connectivity solutions, as per the exchange filings.
This collaboration aims to leverage AI and Android Automotive to meet the growing demand for digital in-vehicle experiences.
On June 17, 2026, HCLTech, a global technology company, announced a multi-year strategic partnership with e.solutions, a Germany-based automotive software specialist and part of Volkswagen Group.
The focus of this partnership is to develop AI-enabled infotainment and connectivity platforms built on Android Automotive.
HCLTech will assist in the development, integration, and validation of production-grade human-machine interface (HMI) software.
This will enable consistent deployment across various hardware platforms and global markets.

e.solutions develops complex software for infotainment and communication within and from vehicles. The company designs frameworks, applications, and graphical user interfaces, integrating them with modules from a global partner network. AI-infused tools and processes are employed throughout the development process.
