HCL Technologies Share Price in Focus; Launches NVIDIA-Powered Automotive Testing Solution

HCL Technologies announced on October 21, 2026, that it had launched a verification and validation (V&V) offering for automotive manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers.
The solution uses NVIDIA’s simulation technology and AI models to automate parts of vehicle software testing. The launch comes as car manufacturers deal with more software updates, increasingly complex vehicle systems, and changing regulatory requirements.
How the Offering Works?
HCLTech’s solution connects different stages of vehicle software testing, including requirements, test creation, execution, analysis and compliance reporting. It is to reduce manual work and help manufacturers identify and investigate test failures.
The company said the system would also maintain digital records, linking requirements, test results and compliance reports. This allows information from different stages of the validation process to be recorded together.
NVIDIA Simulation Tools
The offering uses NVIDIA Omniverse, NVIDIA Cosmos, NVIDIA Alpamayo, NVIDIA Omniverse NuRec and NVIDIA Isaac Sim. These technologies allow manufacturers to create and test scenarios in virtual environments.
The scenarios include rare and safety-critical conditions that may be difficult to cover through physical testing alone. According to HCLTech, using simulation can reduce dependence on physical tests and increase the range of situations covered during validation.
Shift Towards Continuous Testing
HCLTech said the offering was developed to address problems caused by fragmented testing tools, manual processes, and time-consuming compliance work. These issues can slow the process of moving software from development to release.
Pankaj Tagra, Chief Growth Officer and Global Head of Mobility at HCLTech, said the solution was designed to move manufacturers from periodic testing towards continuous validation.
NVIDIA’s EMEA Industry Lead Automotive Enterprise, Dr Sebastian Scheurle, also highlighted the use of simulation to test safety-critical scenarios earlier.

HCLTech’s new offering combines simulation tools and AI agents for automotive software testing. It focuses on reducing manual validation work, increasing scenario coverage, and maintaining records required for compliance reporting.
