Dodla Dairy Limited, one of India's leading integrated dairy companies, has announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.

The company recorded its highest ever quarterly revenue alongside record milk procurement volumes, while profitability came under pressure due to elevated procurement prices and rising operational costs.

Revenue and Profitability Overview

For Q1FY27, Dodla Dairy reported consolidated revenue of ₹1,197.9 crore, up 19% YoY from ₹1,006.9 crore in Q1FY26 and 11.5% higher than the ₹1,074.5 crore recorded in Q4FY26. EBITDA stood at ₹64.9 crore, reflecting a margin of 5.4%, compared with 8.2% in the same quarter last year. Profit After Tax (PAT) was down 35.4% YoY; it fell from ₹62.9 crore in Q1FY26 to ₹40.6 crore in Q1FY27.

Margin Compression Driven by Rising Procurement Costs

Dodla Dairy's profitability margins came under pressure in Q1 FY27, primarily due to milk procurement prices rising faster than realisation prices. The procurement price stood at ₹41.3 per litre, up 10.4% YoY, while the realisation price rose only 3.9% to ₹59.4 per litre. As a result, EBITDA margin fell to 5.4% from 8.2% in Q1FY26, and PAT margin declined to 3.4% from 6.2% a year earlier.

Additional cost pressures included a rise in employee costs linked to minimum wage requirements for off roll employees, higher transport, overhead and fuel costs tied to a shift in product mix from bulk sales to liquid milk and Value Added Products, and a 48 per cent increase in packing material costs during the quarter.

Milk Procurement and Value Added Products

Milk procurement volume reached a record 21.1 lakh litres per day, marking 13% growth over the previous year. Milk sales volume also rose to 13.6 lakh litres per day, an increase of 14.5% YoY. Total Value Added Products contributed ₹414.7 crore, representing 34.6% of total sales, with curd sales volume growing 41.4% to reach 642.6 metric tonnes per day.

Regional and Business Segment Performance

The Africa business delivered revenue growth of 45.6% YoY, supported by milk sales growth of 52.3% YoY and an EBITDA of ₹24.2 crore. Orgafeed recorded revenue growth of 25.9% YoY with an EBITDA margin of 10.5%.

Board Approved Investment in Sids Farm

The Board of Directors approved a primary investment of ₹11.6 crore for a 2% stake in Sids Farm Private Limited, a premium direct to consumer dairy brand, at a pre money valuation of ₹500 crore.

Dodla Diary Share Price Performance

As of July 24, 2026, Dodla Dairy share price closed at ₹1,061.20 on NSE, up by 2.30% from the previous closing price.

Conclusion

Dodla Dairy's Q1FY27 results reflect record revenue and procurement volumes, alongside a decline in EBITDA and PAT margins compared with the same quarter last year, largely attributed to higher milk procurement prices and increased operational costs across the business.
