Delhivery has launched its on-demand intracity delivery service in Mumbai and Hyderabad through the Delhivery Direct app.
The service allows customers to book local shipments with pickups scheduled within 15 minutes, as per the reports. With this addition, the intracity service is now available in 5 cities, including Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad.
The intracity service is intended for small businesses, direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands and individual customers who need short-distance deliveries within city limits. The offering is positioned for routine local shipments rather than bulk or long-haul logistics.
Bookings are made through the Delhivery Direct app, which provides real-time shipment tracking. The service connects both commercial and residential locations across Mumbai and Hyderabad, allowing users to schedule deliveries across different parts of the city.
Customers can choose delivery vehicles based on parcel size. Two-wheelers are used for smaller packages, while three-wheelers and four-wheelers are available for larger consignments. This structure is intended to accommodate a range of shipment volumes within city limits.
Alongside intracity deliveries, Delhivery continues to offer intercity shipping services. These services currently cover more than 18,850 pin codes across India, supported by the company’s wider logistics network.
