DCB Bank Share Price Gains Over 4% After Q1 FY27 Earnings Results: Total Income Up 6.4% YoY

On July 24, 2026, DCB Bank Limited released its unaudited financial results for the quarter ending June 30, 2026, as per the exchange filings.  

The bank reported a total income of ₹2,180.64 crore and net profit of ₹213.20 crore for the quarter ending June 30, 2026. 

DCB Bank Q1 FY27 Earnings Results 

In the June 2026 quarter, DCB Bank reported a total income of ₹2,180.64 crore, marking a 6.4% increase compared to ₹2,049.69 crore in the same quarter of the previous year.  

Additionally, the income saw a 2.9% rise from the ₹2,118.78 crore recorded in the March 2026 quarter. 

In the June 2026 quarter, The Bank's net profit increased by 35.6% YoY, reaching ₹213.20 crore, up from ₹157.26 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.  

The net profit also showed a 3.7% increase from ₹205.65 crore in the March 2026 quarter. 

Annual Financial Performance for FY26 

The bank's financial performance for the fiscal year 2026 further highlights its growth trajectory. The total income for FY26 stood at ₹8,259.60 crore, while the net profit for the same period was ₹731.56 crore. 

Strong Earnings Momentum 

DCB Bank has reported its highest-ever quarterly Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹213.20 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026. This represents a robust 36% year-on-year growth compared to the ₹157 crore posted in Q1 FY2026.  

The bank has successfully achieved record profitability for the fourth consecutive quarter, driven by an expansion in key earnings metrics and a 2.05% improvement in return on equity (ROE) since last year. 

Healthy Core Balance Sheet Growth 

The bank maintained double-digit growth momentum across both sides of its balance sheet during the quarter. Total deposits jumped 20% year-on-year to reach ₹74,482 crore, up from ₹62,039 crore in the previous year's opening quarter.  

Concurrently, net advances grew by 17% year-on-year to ₹59,951 crore, positioning total core bank assets at ₹88,752 crore.

Sustained Improvement in Asset Quality 

DCB Bank marked significant improvements across its portfolio quality, recording lower overall credit costs. The Gross Non-Performing Asset (NPA) ratio fell to 2.43% from 2.98% in June 2025, showing consistent sequential improvement.  

Similarly, the Net NPA ratio dropped from 1.22% to 0.84% year-on-year, while the total Provision Coverage Ratio (PCR) strengthened securely to 79.81%. 

Resilient Net Margins and Income 

Net Interest Income (NII) for the quarter expanded safely to ₹684 crore from ₹581 crore in Q1 FY2026, driven by higher interest inflows.  

Operating profit rose sequentially to ₹344 crore, supported by an optimised cost-to-average-assets ratio hovering at historical lows. The bank successfully scaled down provisions (other than tax) to ₹57 crore from ₹115 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. 

Robust Capital Position 

The lender remains well-capitalized to fund its upcoming growth targets while maintaining high compliance safety buffers. The overall Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) stood strong at 17.03% under Basel III regulations as of June 30, 2026. This solid foundation comprises a highly protective Tier I capital ratio of 14.90% and a Tier II ratio of 2.13%.

As of July 27, 2026, at 10:13 AM, DCB Bank share price on NSE was trading at ₹194.10, up by 4.22% from the previous closing price.
