Dalmia Bharat Share Price in Focus; Q1 Results, Completes Jaiprakash Cement Assets Acquisition

Dalmia Bharat Ltd. reported its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, alongside updates on the integration of its recently acquired cement assets. During the quarter, the company completed the acquisition of Jaiprakash Associates' cement undertaking, increasing its installed cement capacity to 54.7 MnTPA.  

Q1 FY27 Financial Performance 

For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, revenue from operations increased 7% YoY to ₹3,890 crore, while sales volume rose 9% YoY to 7.6 million tonnes.  a

However, EBITDA declined 8.8% YoY to ₹805 crore, profit before tax fell 51% YoY to ₹254 crore, and profit after tax dropped 51.4% YoY to ₹192 crore. The company said exceptional items during the quarter primarily related to acquisition costs for the central region cement assets.  

Acquisition Expands Capacity to 54.7 MnTPA 

Dalmia Bharat completed the acquisition of Jaiprakash Associates' cement undertaking, adding 5.2 MnTPA of cement capacity and 3.3 MnTPA of clinker capacity across four plants in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.  

The transaction was completed at an enterprise value of ₹2,850 crore, taking the company's installed cement capacity to 54.7 MnTPA.   

Integration of Acquired Assets Progresses 

The company commenced commercial production at the 2.5 MnTPA Chunar Grinding Unit on June 20, 2026, while the 3.3 MnTPA Rewa Clinker Unit entered the trial run phase in July as part of the integration process.

Share Price Performance 

As of July 24 2026, Dalmia Bharat share price closed at ₹1,810.80 per share, reflecting a decline of 2.37% from the previous trading session. 

Conclusion 

Dalmia Bharat reported higher revenue and sales volumes for Q1 FY27 while recording lower profitability compared with the year-ago quarter. During the quarter, the company also completed the acquisition of Jaiprakash Associates' cement undertaking, increasing its installed cement capacity to 54.7 MnTPA.
