The net profit (PAT) for the quarter rose by 7% YoY to ₹343.08 crore, up from ₹320.62 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
However, this represented a 2.9% decrease from ₹353.32 crore reported in the March 2026 quarter.

For the financial year 2026, Colgate-Palmolive India recorded a total income of ₹6,124.16 crore. The net profit (PAT) for the year stood at ₹1,325.31 crore.

The consumer major expanded its profitability margins despite facing widespread geopolitical uncertainties and subsequent commodity price inflation.
Thanks to structural cost-saving programs under its internal 'Funding the Growth' banner and strict financial discipline, the company successfully pushed its gross margin to 69.7%, marking a year-on-year expansion of 110 basis points. Profit before exceptional items and tax grew to ₹466 crore.
To maintain long-term corporate agility, the group recorded a one-off exceptional expense of ₹3.34 crore during the quarter to account for organizational changes and employee severance programs.

Premium Products and Calibrated Advertising Campaigns Drive Volume Momentum
Colgate-Palmolive capitalized on its strong gross margins by intensifying focused investments in brand equity and category premiumization. The toothpaste portfolio registered high-single-digit physical volume growth, led by premium variants and core dental segments.
On the innovation front, the company expanded its lifestyle catalog by launching the MaxFresh Berry Blast toothpaste and introducing the premium Total Active Prevention foaming clean toothbrush.
Moving forward, Managing Director and CEO Prabha Narasimhan announced that the group will maintain its premium growth trajectory by deploying science-backed oral care merchandise and increasing localized advertising investments.
