Segment Revenue and Division Contributions
The nutrient and crop protection divisions both delivered stable top-line growth to fuel the consolidated revenue expansion.
Gross consolidated revenue from the nutrient and other allied businesses scaled up to ₹6,951.03 crore compared to ₹6,351.73 crore in the prior year's first quarter.
Concurrently, the crop protection business registered a substantial revenue jump to reach ₹1,250.76 crore, up from ₹724.85 crore year-on-year, partially boosted by the strategic acquisition of a 53.08% stake in NACL Industries Limited.
Strategic Debt Restructuring and Equity Conversion
The Board of Directors approved critical financial adjustments to optimize the capital structure of its international corporate umbrella.
The board greenlit the conversion of an internal loan value amounting to approximately ₹108.00 crore into fresh equity shares of Coromandel Chemicals Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary, at a premium price of ₹39.95 per share.
Additionally, leaders authorized the restructuring of a $9.70 million loan given to step-down subsidiary Baobab Mining and Chemicals Corporation S.A. into equity or preference shares.
