Adani Green Energy Share Price in Focus; Operationalises 156 MW Renewable Project and 185 MWh BESS at Khavda

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has commercially operationalised a 156 MW renewable energy project and a 185 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project at Khavda, Gujarat. 

156 MW Renewable Energy Project Commissioned 

AGEL has operationalised an aggregate 156 MW wind power project at Khavda through its stepdown subsidiary, Adani Green Energy Twenty Six A Limited. 

The project adds to the company's renewable energy portfolio and further strengthens its presence at the Khavda renewable energy park in Gujarat.  

185 MWh Battery Energy Storage System Operationalised 

The company has also commissioned an aggregate 185 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project at Khavda through Adani Renewable Energy Forty Three Limited. 

The BESS project is expected to support renewable energy integration by providing energy storage capacity.  

Operational Capacity Crosses 20 GW 

Following the commissioning of these projects, Adani Green Energy's total operational renewable generation capacity has increased to 20,141.80 MW. 

The company's total operational Battery Energy Storage System capacity has also reached 3,551 MWh.

As of 01 July 2026, at 11:46 AM, Adani Green Energy share price was trading at ₹1,532.00 per share, reflecting a surge of 2.67% from the previous trading session.
