Adani Green Energy Share Price Falls Over 3% After Q2 FY27 Earnings Results: Total Income Up 39.1% YoY

On October 21, 2026, Adani Green Energy Limited released its unaudited consolidated financial results for the quarter and half-year ending September 30, 2026, as per the exchange filings.

The company reported a total income of ₹4,520 crore for the September quarter, marking a 39.1% increase compared to the same period last year.  

However, this was a 3.1% decrease from the previous quarter. Net profit for the quarter rose 16% YoY to ₹747 crore. 

Half-Year Financial Performance 

For the half-year ending September 30, 2026, Adani Green Energy Limited's total income increased by 26.6% YoY to ₹9,183 crore.  

The net profit for this period rose 17.8% YoY to ₹1,730 crore. The company has also reported a total income of ₹13,819 crore for FY26, with a net profit of ₹1,987 crore. 

Operational Highlights of Adani Green Energy 

The company's renewable energy network expanded by 24% YoY, reaching a capacity of 20,763 MW. During the first half of FY27, electricity sales increased by 32% to 25,747 million units.  

The flagship Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat scaled up operations to 10.8 GW, with 3,081 MWh of battery energy storage commissioned in Q2.

Balance Sheet and Debt Management 

Consolidated net debt rose from ₹91,252 crore in March to ₹1,02,973 crore by September 2026. The company maintained a stable leverage ratio with net debt to run-rate EBITDA at 5.6x. Cash reserves and liquid banking balances were recorded at ₹11,875 crore. 

Sustainability and Environmental Impact 

Adani Green Energy Limited maintained its top ranking in the FTSE Russell ESG evaluation. The company averted 17.5 million tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions in H1 and improved its operational water balance index by 30%.
