IGI Share Price Open at ₹510 on Listing Day, Above Issue Price of ₹417

International Gemmological IPO opened for subscription on December 13, 2024, and closed on December 17, 2024.
It was a book-built issue of ₹4,225.00 crore. The issue was a combination of a fresh issue of 3.54 crore shares aggregating to ₹1,475.00 crores and an offer for sale of 6.59 crore shares aggregating to ₹2,750.00 crores. The International Gemmological IPO price band was set at ₹397 to ₹417 per share.
On Day 3 of subscription, December 17, as of 6:20 PM, International Gemmological IPO was subscribed 35.48 times. QIBs subscribed 48.11x, NIIs subscribed 26.09x, and retail investors subscribed 11.77x.
The share allotment was finalised on December 18, 2024, and the shares were listed on BSE and NSE on December 20, 2024.
International Gemmological Institute Share Price
On the listing day, on the NSE, IGI share price opened at ₹510.00, up from its issue price of ₹417.00. At 10:28 AM, the share price was trading at ₹496.00, down by 2.75% from its opening price of ₹510.00. As of the same time, the stock touched its day’s high at ₹525.00. The company’s market cap was ₹21,435.12 crore.
On the BSE, at 10:29 AM, International Gemmological Institute share price was trading at ₹489.45, down by 3.05% from its opening price of ₹504.85 and 17.37% up from its issue price of ₹417.
