Kochi-Based EyeROV Wins ₹47 Crore Indian Navy Contract for Advanced Underwater Drones

Technology and Applications

EyeROV’s flagship TROUT model, with a depth rating of 300 metres, can carry multiple payloads tailored for both defence and commercial use. The company has previously deployed its ROVs for disaster recovery, dam safety assessments, offshore energy projects, and naval assignments. The startup emphasises that its technology stack is fully built in India, aligning with the government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat push for defence self-reliance.
