Digital devotional startup Ghar Mandir is in advanced discussions to secure $2.5 million in its first institutional funding round, with Info Edge poised to lead the investment, as mentioned in the Entrackr news report.

The funding is expected to strengthen Ghar Mandir’s efforts in product development and user acquisition, as India’s faith-tech landscape sees increased investor interest and growing user engagement.

Rising Investor Interest in Devotion-Tech

This development follows a $20 million Series C round raised by rival AppsForBharat, the parent company of Sri Mandir, last month. The round was led by Susquehanna Asia Venture Capital and underlines the rapidly growing appetite for digital devotional solutions in India.

Other notable players in the space include DevDham, Vama, Utsav App, Sutradhar, and 27 Mantra—each vying for a slice of this spiritually driven, tech-enabled market.

About Ghar Mandir

Launched in August 2023 by Samya Mittal and Apurva Shah, Ghar Mandir is a digital platform enabling users to book temple offerings, rituals, and devotional services online. Collaborating with over 50 temples and priests, it offers doorstep delivery of prasad, custom rituals starting at just ₹101, and video recordings of the ceremonies. Despite being bootstrapped, the platform claims to have catered to over 100,000 users to date.
