Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 31 July, 2024

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 55 points or 0.07% at 81,507, while the Nifty-50 was up around 25 points or 0.1% at 24,882. About 1,954 shares have advanced; 1,203 declined and 120 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Asian Paints Ltd, NTPC Ltd and JSW Steel Ltd while the top Sensex losers were IndusInd Bank, Power Grid Corporation of India and Tata Motors Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.55% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.10%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Torrent Power Ltd and Yes Bank. In contrast, Oswal Green Tech Ltd and Skipper Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Oil & Gas Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Realty Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Oil & Gas Index gained by 0.95%, up by Gail India Ltd and Oil & Natural Gas Ltd while the BSE Realty Index plunged by 0.52%, down by The Phoenix Mills Ltd and DLF Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: JTL Industries Ltd, Suzlon Energy Ltd and Tata Motors Ltd.
