Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 27 June, 2024

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 272 points or 0.35% at 78,945, while the Nifty-50 was up around 78 points or 0.33% at 23,947. About 2,074 shares have advanced; 1,402 declined and 169 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Ultratech Cement Ltd, JSW Steel Ltd and Bajaj Finance Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Tech Mahindra Ltd, HCL Technologies Ltd and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.74% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.54%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Whirlpool of India Ltd and General Insurance Corporation of India. In contrast, L G Balakrishnan & Bros Ltd and India Cements Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Commodities Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Auto Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Commodities Index gained by 1.30%, up by India Cement Ltd and Orient Cement Ltd while the BSE Auto Index plunged by 0.30%, down by Apollo Tyres Ltd and Eicher Motors Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Titagarh Rail Systems Ltd, GMR Airports Infrastructure Ltd and IIFL Finance Ltd
