Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 17 October, 2023

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with the Sensex up around 314 points or 0.47% at 66,481 and the Nifty-50 around 93 points or 0.47% at 19,824. About 2,287 shares have advanced, 768 declined, and 115 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, Tata Steel Ltd and ICICI Bank whereas the top Sensex losers were Ultratech Cement Ltd and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.

The BSE Utilities Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Realty Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Utilities Index soared 1.31% led by Adani Power Ltd and Rattan India Power Ltd while the BSE Realty Index was down 0.37% dragged down by Sobha Ltd and Macrotech Developers Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.53% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.82%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Exide Industries Ltd and Supreme Industries Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Gensol Engineering Ltd and Subex Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: KIOCL Ltd, ITI Ltd and MIC Electronics Ltd.
