Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 16 July, 2024
On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 120 points or 0.18% at 80,790, while the Nifty-50 was up around 55 points or 0.22% at 24,642. About 2,115 shares have advanced; 1,079 declined and 117 are unchanged on the BSE.
Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:
The top Sensex gainers were Bharti Airtel Ltd, Infosys Ltd and Tech Mahindra Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Reliance Industries Ltd, Larsen & Toubro Ltd and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
The indices in the broader markets were trading mixed with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.15% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.59%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd and United Breweries Ltd. In contrast, Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd and Styrenix Performance Materials Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.
The BSE Telecommunication Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Bankex Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Telecommunication Index gained by 1.18%, up by MTNL Ltd and Vodafone Idea Ltd while the BSE Bankex Index plunged by 0.20%, down by Canara Bank and IndusInd Bank.
In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: SpiceJet Ltd, Rites Ltd and KPI Green Energy Ltd
