Share Market Pre Open Updates – July 25, 2024

On July 24, 2024, Indian equity indices continued to fall for the fourth straight session. At close, the Sensex was down 0.35% at 80,148, and the Nifty was down 0.27% at 24,413.
Top Gainers and Losers
Regarding sectors, Nifty Media, Nifty Oil and Gas, Nifty Consumer Durables, and Nifty Mid-small healthcare were seen rising. On the other hand, Nifty Bank, Nifty Private Bank, Nifty Financial Services, and Nifty FMCG were seen declining. Talking about the top movers, the top gainers were ICICI Prudential, LIC, United Spirits, and HDFC Life. On the other hand, the top losers were Godrej Consumer Products, Dabur, Shree Cements, and Bajaj Holdings.

- Titagarh Rail Systems Ltd: Titagarh’s share price rose by 3% yesterday as the company announced it started exporting traction converters. This export is part of a €7.18 million (around ₹65 crore) order received by Titagarh Rail from Titagarh Firema.
- Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL): MTNL’s share price closed 5% up at ₹88.06, hitting the upper circuit. It continued its rally for the ninth straight session after the government allocated funds for bond payment.
