Share Market Pre Open Updates – July 11, 2024

On July 10, 2024, the Nifty 50 and Sensex fell 0.45% and 0.53% to close at 24,324 and 79,924, respectively. 

Top Gainers and Losers

On the sectoral front, Nifty Pharma, Nifty Healthcare Index, Nifty FMCG and Nifty Financial Services 25/50 ended in the green. Meanwhile, Nifty Auto, Nifty Media, Nifty Metal and Nifty PSU Bank were declining. The top gainers were IRFC, Asian Paints, REC Ltd and Berger Paints, which showed positive movement. On the other hand, M&M, PNB, Vedanta Limited, and Hindalco were the top losers of the day.

FSN E-Commerce Ventures Ltd and Delta Corp were in the news on July 10, 2024.

• Yesterday, a block deal worth ₹1.47 crore occurred in FSN E-Commerce Ventures, Nykaa’s parent company, leading to a 4% increase in the company’s shares. However, the stock later gave up its intraday gains.
• Delta Corp’s share price fell 4% yesterday after the company reported disappointing results for the quarter ending in June FY25, due to higher GST rates, general elections, and seasonal factors.
