Share Market Pre Open Updates – July 01, 2024

On June 28, 2024, the Nifty 50 dropped  0.14% and closed at 24,010, and the Sensex slipped by 0.27%, closing at 79,032. 

Top Gainers and Losers

On the sectoral front, Nifty Oil & Gas, Nifty Pharma, Nifty Healthcare Index, and Nifty Midsmall Healthcare ended in the green. Meanwhile, Nifty Private Bank, Nifty Bank, Nifty Financial Services, and Nifty Financial Services 25/50 declined. The top gainers were Punjab National Bank, Trent, Dr Reddy Laboratories, and ONGC, which showed positive movement. On the other hand, DMART, Samvardhana Motherson, Bosch, and Axis Bank were the top losers of the day.

• Central Depository Services Limited (CDSL) shares rose 20% to ₹2,407 as the company seeks to issue bonus shares.
• Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) secured a contract worth ₹13,300 crore from the Ministry of Power. This news led the share price to increase by 1.43% to ₹301.
