Recently, a video surfaced online suggesting that investing ₹21,000 could yield returns of ₹10 lakh per month. The footage falsely depicted Ex-RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das endorsing the scheme. PIB Fact Check swiftly responded, declaring the video fake and digitally manipulated. It clarified that the RBI does not support or promote any private investment platforms nor does it offer such financial advice.
The government has reiterated caution among the public, especially for schemes claiming to offer high returns with minimal investment. Users are advised to always verify investment information through official channels and not to trust visuals or messages that appear too good to be true.
