In a communication issued to customers, the private sector lender said the maintenance work will be conducted between 2:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. IST, during which multiple mobile and online banking services will remain inaccessible.
The bank stated that the four-hour maintenance window is part of its ongoing efforts to upgrade systems and improve the overall digital banking experience.
Customers have been advised to plan transactions in advance to avoid inconvenience during the scheduled downtime.
During the maintenance period, a range of account-related services will not be available through the bank’s digital platforms. This includes:

| Online Payments | Unavailable |
| Other Account Transactions | Unavailable |
The disruption will extend to transactions carried out on third-party payment platforms such as Google Pay if they are linked to an HDFC Bank UPI ID.
Despite the temporary disruption in core banking services, the bank said customers can continue making payments through its digital wallet platform, PayZapp.
PayZapp functions as a mobile wallet and virtual card application, enabling users to perform several financial transactions without relying on traditional bank transfers.
The platform allows customers to:
One of its key features is secure one-click transactions, which allow users to make payments without storing card details.
HDFC Bank advised customers who anticipate urgent transactions during the maintenance window to load funds into the PayZapp wallet beforehand.

HDFC Bank’s scheduled maintenance will temporarily disrupt most digital banking services, including UPI, NEFT, IMPS and online payments, for four hours early on March 14.

Customers who rely on digital banking are advised to complete important transfers or payments before the maintenance window begins to avoid delays.
