SBI Mutual Fund August 2026 Holdings: ICICI Bank Leads Portfolio, HDFC Bank and RIL Follow

SBI Mutual Fund had ₹13.42 lakh crore in Assets Under Management (AUM) as of August 2026. According to a report by Motilal Oswal Financial Services, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and Reliance Industries were the three largest stock holdings during the month.
The top 10 list also included State Bank of India (SBI), Bharti Airtel, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Larsen & Toubro, Axis Bank, Bajaj Finance and Infosys. The weights of several stocks changed from July, 2026.
ICICI Bank at 7%
ICICI Bank remained the largest stock holding, with a 7% share of the portfolio. Its weight was unchanged from July.
HDFC Bank was next at 6.5%. Its portfolio weight fell by 0.4% during August. RIL had a 4.6% weight, down 0.2% from the previous month.
SBI and Bharti Airtel
SBI accounted for 3.4% of the portfolio in August, with no change in its weight from July. Bharti Airtel had a 3.2% allocation, which was 0.2% lower than the previous month.
Kotak Mahindra Bank accounted for 2.9%. SBI Mutual Fund added around 1.13 crore shares of the bank during the month, increasing its portfolio weight by 0.2%.
L&T and Axis Bank
L&T had a 2.8% portfolio weight in August, up 0.1% from July. Axis Bank accounted for 2.2% of the portfolio.
The fund house added around 3.46 lakh shares of Axis Bank during the month. Its portfolio weight increased by 0.1%.
Bajaj Finance and Infosys
Bajaj Finance and Infosys each had a 2.1% share of the portfolio. The allocation to Bajaj Finance declined by 0.2%, while Infosys saw a 0.1% fall.

Conclusion
The August data showed changes in the allocation to several of SBI Mutual Fund’s largest stock holdings. HDFC Bank recorded the biggest fall in weight, while Kotak Mahindra Bank saw the largest increase among the listed stocks.
