The report considered a universe of 354 schemes from 20 AMCs, focusing on the top 20 fund houses by AUM. SBI Mutual Fund, with an AUM of ₹12,79,000 crore, saw 18 of its 24 equity funds outperform their benchmarks. ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, with an AUM of ₹11,72,000 crore, had 17 out of 34 funds surpass their benchmarks.
HDFC Mutual Fund, with an AUM of ₹9,57,000 crore, had 10 out of 22 funds outperform their benchmarks. Nippon India Mutual Fund, managing ₹7,65,000 crore, saw 13 out of 17 funds outperform. Kotak Mutual Fund, with ₹6,10,000 crore in AUM, had 22 out of 25 funds surpass their benchmarks.
Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund, with an AUM of ₹4,27,000 crore, had 14 out of 24 funds outperform their benchmarks. UTI Mutual Fund, managing ₹3,98,000 crore, saw 7 out of 18 funds surpass their benchmarks.

Axis Mutual Fund had 13 out of 17 funds outperform their benchmarks, while DSP Mutual Fund saw 10 out of 15 funds surpass their benchmarks.
Mirae Asset Mutual Fund had 5 out of 12 funds outperform. Tata Mutual Fund had 12 out of 20 funds surpass benchmarks, and Bandhan Mutual Fund had 10 out of 16 funds outperform.
PPFAS Mutual Fund, with 2 equity funds, saw both outperform their benchmarks and the Nifty 50 TRI. This achievement placed PPFAS among the top 5 AMCs by outperformance ratio.
