Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited has secured a significant Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract valued at approximately ₹1,252.43 crore (excluding taxes). The Letter of Award (LOA) was received on September 9, 2025, at 10:42 a.m. from Waaree Forever Energies Private Limited, a domestic entity and a subsidiary of its holding company.
The project involves turnkey EPC execution for an 870 MWac / 1,218 MWp grid-connected ground mount solar power project. The scope of work includes the development of a 33kV/400kV substation, transmission line infrastructure, and 2 years of Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services. Scheduled for completion in FY 2026-27, the project is subject to standard statutory approvals.
This contract solidifies Waaree Renewable's presence in the high-capacity solar infrastructure segment, contributing to India’s clean energy goals while enhancing the company’s project portfolio and revenue pipeline.
The awarding entity, Waaree Forever Energies Private Limited, is a related party as it is a subsidiary of the holding company. The transaction has been confirmed to be at arm’s length and in compliance with SEBI’s regulatory norms.
The nature of the order is commercial, and it reinforces Waaree Renewable’s role as a key EPC player in the domestic renewable energy market.
