Market Recap: Top Nifty50 Losers – SBILIFE, TATA STEEL, and TITAN Slip as Sensex Recovers

On October 8, Indian stock markets bounced back after five days of losses. The BSE Sensex rose by 584.81 points, or 0.72%, closing at 81,634.8. Similarly, the Nifty50 increased by 217.38 points, or 0.88%, to finish at 25,013.15. This rise came as investors reacted to the results of the Assembly elections and as the sharp increase in Chinese stocks began to ease.

- Titan Company Ltd’s share price opened at ₹3,589.25 and closed at ₹3,504.90. In this quarter, Titan opened 75 new stores, bringing its total retail network to 3,171 locations. The domestic jewellery segment saw a 25% year-on-year increase in Q2, following a quieter Q1.
- Bajaj Finserv Ltd’s share price opened at ₹1,873.20 and closed at ₹1,836.00.
