Top Gainers of the Day – Wipro, Tech Mahindra, HDFC Life, HDFC Bank, and L&T

On October 14, 2024,  the domestic equity indices ended in green. Nifty 50 was up 0.66% and settled at 25,127.95 while Sensex closed up 0.73% to 81,973.05.

Out of the 50 stocks in the Nifty50 Index, here are the top 5 gainers for the day: 

• Wipro shares opened at ₹538.70, touched the day high of ₹551.85 and closed at ₹550.70. Wipro’s board is likely to consider the bonus issue in the upcoming board meeting.
• Tech Mahindra’s share price closed at ₹1,694.50 with a gain of 2.88% and during the day it touched the day high of ₹1,697.00
• HDFC Life ended the trading session at ₹741.20, reflecting a gain of 2.40%. The stock hit a daily high of ₹741.60.
• Closing at ₹1,689.00, HDFC Bank shares saw a rise of 2.30%, with its share price peaking at ₹1,692.05 throughout the day.
• L&T’s share price rose by 2.02% to close at ₹3,552.75, having reached a maximum of ₹3,573.85 earlier in the trading session.
