The Nifty50 and Sensex extended their winning streak to 5 sessions on April 8, 2026, supported by the US-Iran ceasefire and the RBI’s status-quo policy stance.

The Nifty50 closed 3.78% (873.70 points) higher at 23,997.35, while the Sensex jumped 3.95% (2,946.32 points) to end at 77,562.90.
