A series of important corporate announcements are expected to guide the market today. Several companies have reported stake sales, project wins, tax developments, governance changes, and fresh investments. Here are the major stocks likely to be in focus.

Adani Enterprises

Adani Enterprises sold a 13% stake in AWL Agri Business (formerly Adani Wilmar). Wilmar’s subsidiary Lence bought the stake for ₹4,650 crore in an off-market deal. After this transaction, Wilmar becomes the majority owner.

NBCC

State-owned NBCC India won a major project management consultancy contract worth ₹2,966 crore. The project is part of Phase 1 of the Naveen Nagpur Metropolitan development plan, and the amount is exclusive of GST.

CG Power

CG Power and Industrial Solutions received a tax assessment order of ₹365 crore for FY 2018–19. The order includes several adjustments by the Income Tax Department. The company plans to follow the normal legal process to respond or file an appeal.

Reliance Power

Reliance Power has set up a new Board of Management to improve decision-making and strengthen governance. The company said this step will help build a more agile and future-ready organisation.

HG Infra

HG Infra Engineering secured a ₹274 crore order from DLF Cyber City Developers. The work involves building the access road network for DLF Downtown Phase-2 in Gurugram’s Sector-25A. The project will follow an Item Rate/BOQ model, with GST and labour cess charged separately.

Godawari Power

Godawari Power & Ispat (GPIL) announced that its subsidiary Godawari New Energy issued 12.49 crore preference shares at ₹10 each, raising ₹124.95 crore. This aligns with GPIL’s earlier plan to increase its investment in the subsidiary.

JK Tyre

JK Tyre’s subsidiary JK Tornel sold 40 lakh shares of Cavendish Industries to SMMS Trust for ₹130.64 crore. Even after the sale, Cavendish Industries remains a subsidiary of JK Tyre.

Dabur India

Dabur received partial relief from the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal as it cancelled ₹59 crore of an earlier tax demand. The remaining ₹50.96 crore is still under appeal.
