Indian equities may see stock-specific activity today as investors track corporate developments, quarterly results, regulatory updates, order wins and management changes. 

Several companies have reported developments that could influence investor sentiment during the trading session, while a few stocks are also in focus due to fresh business opportunities and strategic moves. 

HDFC Bank 

The board of HDFC Bank has approved the appointment of its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer by submitting the names of two candidates in order of preference, along with the proposed remuneration, for a three-year term, subject to approval from the Reserve Bank of India.  

The board has also approved the re-appointment of V Srinivasa Rangan and Jimmy Tata as Whole-time Directors for three years. In addition, the bank will create one more Whole-time Director position, taking the total number to four besides the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. 

Lalithaa Jewellery Mart 

Lalithaa Jewellery Mart reported a 21.6% decline in consolidated profit to ₹208.2 crore in the first quarter, compared with ₹265.6 crore in the corresponding period last year. Revenue, however, increased 26% to ₹6,031.2 crore from ₹4,786.1 crore. 

Horizon Industrial Parks 

Horizon Industrial Parks reported a consolidated loss of ₹10.3 crore for the first quarter, narrowing from a loss of ₹64.3 crore in the year-ago period. Revenue increased 23.1% to ₹200.5 crore from ₹162.9 crore, making the stock one to watch following the quarterly update. 

Solar Industries India 

Solar Industries India's subsidiary, Solar SA Investments Proprietary, has signed definitive agreements with Omnia Holdings for the acquisition of all outstanding shares of Omnia for US$1.355 billion, equivalent to around ₹12,951 crore.  

Omnia is an international diversified group operating across mining and agriculture-related products, solutions and specialised services. 

Aurobindo Pharma 

The US Food and Drug Administration inspected Unit-IV, an API manufacturing facility of Aurobindo Pharma's subsidiary Apitoria Pharma, in Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, from September 7 to September 11, 2026. The inspection concluded with zero observations, providing a positive regulatory update for the company. 

Raymond 

Raymond's aerospace subsidiary has secured significant new business from a leading Indian aerospace and defence company. The award covers more than 300 part numbers, including precision-machined, casting and structural components, across multiple aircraft applications.  

Annual volumes are expected to exceed 37,000 components, representing an estimated annual business potential of around ₹33 crore at expected production rates. 

Coforge 

DK Singh has resigned as Non-Executive Independent Director and Chairperson of Coforge's Nomination and Remuneration Committee with immediate effect.  

Following the resignation, the board has reconstituted the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and Stakeholders' Relationship Committee. Beth Boucher, a Non-Executive Independent Director, has been appointed as Chairperson of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. 

KEC International 

KEC International secured new orders worth ₹1,303 crore for transmission and distribution projects across India, the Middle East and the Americas. Its year-to-date order intake has consequently crossed ₹7,600 crore. 

Indiabulls 

Indiabulls has entered into a definitive agreement with Fintech Cloud to acquire a 70% stake for ₹1,050 crore through an NCLT Scheme. Fintech Cloud provides technology-enabled solutions and support for NBFC origination, underwriting and servicing.

Mainboard and SME Listing 

Pranav Constructions is scheduled to list on the mainboard, putting the stock in focus during today's trading session.  

Apana Logistics is scheduled for SME listing today. 

Bulk and Block Deals 

BlackBuck saw Abakkus Investment Managers acquire 27 lakh shares, representing a 1.48% stake, from Accel India IV (Mauritius) for ₹155.5 crore at ₹576.05 per share. 

In Jamna Auto Industries, promoters Randeep Singh Jauhar and Pradeep Singh Jauhar each sold 99.95 lakh shares, representing a 2.5% stake, at ₹128 per share. The total stake sold was valued at ₹255.87 crore and was acquired by institutional investors including 360 ONE Mutual Fund, 360 ONE Asset Management, DSP Mutual Fund and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. 

Granules India promoter Krishna Prasad Chigurupati sold shares worth a total of ₹1,508.64 crore, reducing his stake by 6.94%. Several institutional investors acquired the shares sold in the transactions. 

Conclusion 

Management changes, regulatory developments, quarterly results, strategic acquisitions and new business wins are likely to drive stock-specific activity in today's trading session. Investors will also track listing activity and bulk deals for additional market cues.
