Several stocks are likely to remain in focus in today’s trade following announcements related to investments, stake sales, fundraising plans, regulatory approvals, partnerships, board decisions and bulk deals. Companies including HCL Technologies, SBI, Adani Enterprises, GIC, IRCTC and others have reported key developments.  

HCL Technologies Acquires Stake in Sarvam AI 

HCL Technologies has acquired a 10.46% stake in Axonwise Private Limited (Sarvam AI) for ₹1,427.25 crore. 

On June 15, HCL Technologies share price closed at 1,119.15 each on the BSE. 

SBI to Evaluate Fundraising Plans in FY27 

State Bank of India will hold a board meeting on June 18 to consider fundraising options for FY27. 

The bank may explore capital raising through a public issue or private placement, depending on regulatory and market conditions. 

On June 15, SBI share price closed at ₹1,020.45 each on the BSE. 

Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Approves NCD Issuance 

Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services has approved issuance of Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) worth up to ₹1,000 crore on a private placement basis. 

The issuance is aimed at supporting funding requirements and liability management. 

On June 15, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services share price closed at ₹297.45 each on the BSE. 

General Insurance Corporation of India Announces OFS 

General Insurance Corporation of India will see the Government of India divest up to 5% stake via an Offer-for-Sale (OFS) on June 16 to June 17. 

  • Base offer: 2% equity stake  

  • Additional option: up to 3%  

  • Floor price: ₹352 per share  

  • Non-retail bidding: June 16  

  • Retail bidding: June 17  

Craftsman Automation Launches ₹2,000 Crore QIP 

Craftsman Automation has launched a ₹2,000 crore Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP). 

The floor price for the issue has been fixed at ₹8,966.13 per share. 

On June 15, Craftsman Automation share price closed at ₹9,338.65 each on the BSE. 

Adani Enterprises Plans AI and Data Centre Platform 

Adani Enterprises and Jabil Inc. have announced plans to form a strategic alliance to develop an AI and data centre infrastructure manufacturing platform in India. 

Yes Bank Enters Partnership with Northern Arc Capital 

Yes Bank has entered into a partnership with Northern Arc Capital to expand credit access and strengthening digital lending capabilities. 

The collaboration aims to improve formal credit delivery across underserved segments. 

Dhanlaxmi Bank Appoints New CFO 

Dhanlaxmi Bank has appointed Krishnakumar K as Chief Financial Officer for a period of three years, replacing Kavitha T.A. 

IRCTC CFO Steps Down from Additional Charge 

IRCTC has announced that Sudhir Kumar has relinquished additional charge as Director (Finance), effective June 15. 

Following this, he has ceased to serve as CFO and Senior Management Personnel. 

Devyani International Receives Regulatory Approval 

Devyani International has received Observation Letters with “no objection” from NSE and BSE for its proposed scheme of arrangement with Sapphire Foods. 

The scheme remains subject to further regulatory approvals. 

GMR Airports Reports Monthly Traffic Growth 

GMR Airports reported passenger traffic growth in May: 

  • Total traffic: +6.1% YoY  

  • Domestic traffic: +7.9%  

  • International traffic: +0.4%  

  • Aircraft movements: +2.3%  

Bulk and Block Deals 

Vedanta Iron and Steel 

PI Opportunities AIF V LLP acquired 4.83 crore shares worth ₹101.67 crore at ₹21.02 per share. 

Bai-Kakaji Polymers 

Motilal Oswal Financial Services acquired 6 lakh shares, representing a 2.8% stake in Bai-Kakaji Polymers, at around ₹196 per share, while multiple sellers collectively offloaded shares worth over ₹6 crore through block deals. 

Niva Bupa Health Insurance Company 

HSBC Global Investment Funds and related entities acquired 40 lakh shares (0.2% stake) of Niva Bupa Health Insurance worth ₹33.2 crore at ₹83 per share from the MD & CEO. 

Other Stocks in Focus 

R R Kabel will trade ex-dividend, Mini Diamonds India will trade ex-bonus, while Kaynes Technology India remains under the F&O ban list for today's trading session. 

Conclusion
