RailTel Secures ₹18.22 Crore Order from Ceg - Centre For EGovernance, Karnataka; Share Price in Focus

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from the Centre for E-Governance, Government of Karnataka, as per the exchange filing. The order is valued at ₹18.22 crore (₹18,22,22,222/-) and covers OEM support for routers and switches that are part of the Karnataka State Wide Area Network (KSWAN) 2.0. This network connects government offices and departments across the state.
Project Scope
The project focuses on maintaining network stability and operational reliability. KSWAN 2.0 is used for communication between government offices and supports multiple administrative and citizen service applications. RailTel will provide technical and maintenance support from the OEM to ensure the network remains functional.
Timeline and Execution
The project is expected to be completed by November 8, 2025. The work primarily involves maintaining existing systems and extending support services rather than installing new equipment. RailTel will coordinate with equipment manufacturers to reduce downtime and maintain network performance.

KSWAN 2.0 supports daily government operations, including document exchange and online services.
