Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, the country’s largest carmaker, announced plans to add 500 new service workshops to its network during the current fiscal year (FY2025-26), as per the news reports. The company revealed the expansion strategy while inaugurating its 5,000th Arena Service touchpoint in Coimbatore, underscoring its focus on strengthening after-sales support across India.

The automaker currently operates through two primary channels: Arena and Nexa, catering to its broad customer base across different market segments.

Expanding Nationwide Reach

As per the news reports, Maruti Suzuki MD and CEO Hisashi Takeuchi stated, "We plan to continuously expand our network in future as well. In FY 2024-25, we opened 460 service touchpoints under ARENA and NEXA channels, and in FY 2025-26, we plan to add a total of 500 service workshops to our network." 

With these additions, Maruti Suzuki’s total service network now exceeds 5,640 touchpoints, covering 2,818 cities across India. The company said this expansion reinforces its aim to provide convenient and reliable after-sales service closer to customers’ locations.

Record Service Volume and Capacity

In FY2024-25, Maruti Suzuki serviced over 27 million vehicles, the highest in its history for a single financial year. Between April and September 2025, the automaker’s network has already handled more than 14 million vehicles, putting it on track to surpass previous records.

The company said its current infrastructure can service over 30 million customer vehicles annually, supported by its widespread network and skilled technicians.
