Mahindra has officially introduced the 2025 version of the Bolero SUV in India, priced from ₹7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The update brings subtle exterior tweaks, new interior features, and a newly added top-spec B8 trim, while keeping the mechanicals unchanged from the previous generation.

2025 Mahindra Bolero: Price, Engine and Trim Details

The 2025 Mahindra Bolero continues to be equipped with the reliable 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder diesel engine producing 76hp and 210Nm of torque. Mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, the rear-wheel-drive SUV offers a dependable performance favoured in both rural and semi-urban markets.

The price bracket for the 2025 Bolero spans across the B4, B6, B6 (O), and the new B8 trims ranging from ₹7.99 lakh to ₹9.69 lakh, offering more choice based on customer needs and features.

Exterior Enhancements and Colour Options

Visual updates are minimal but effective. Key changes include a redesigned 5-slat front grille with chrome accents and introduction of fog lamps from the B6 trim onwards. The B8 trim now comes equipped with new 16-inch alloy wheels. The SUV is now available in 4 exterior colours: Stealth Black (new addition), Diamond White, Dsat Silver, and Rocky Beige, elevating its appeal in the visual department.

Interior and Feature Upgrades

The cabin has seen the most significant improvements. For the first time, the Bolero gets a touchscreen infotainment unit (without Android Auto or Apple CarPlay), enhancing the driving experience. Additional features include steering-mounted controls, USB-C charging port, door-mounted bottle holders, and leatherette seat upholstery. Despite these upgrades, the vehicle continues to have dual front airbags across all trims, with no six-airbag option yet.

Maintaining Its Rugged Utility Edge

Being the only sub-4 metre, ladder-frame SUV in its segment, the Bolero retains its rugged, utilitarian DNA. Mahindra claims an improved ride and handling balance, positioning this update to cater better to both urban and rural mobility needs without compromising on durability.

Conclusion

The 2025 Mahindra Bolero offers updated looks and upgraded cabin features without altering its rugged mechanical structure. With the addition of the B8 variant and practical enhancements, Bolero continues to be a value-driven SUV ideal for both daily duties and offbeat adventures.
