HCL Technologies has renewed and expanded a multi-year agreement with a major commercial vehicle manufacturer headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden. In an exchange filing released on September 23, the client’s name and contract value were not disclosed.
The new deal covers the modernisation of the automaker’s IT infrastructure. HCLTech will deploy its GenAI-based platform, AI Force, to deliver managed services, hyper-automation, and observability tools. These measures are to make IT service delivery faster and simplify system management.
The services include one-click IT provisioning, automation of routine tasks, and monitoring of full technology stacks. The company said the platform will also contribute to energy-efficient IT operations, aligning with the client’s sustainability objectives.
This contract builds on HCLTech’s existing relationship with the Swedish company. The agreement also reflects a larger trend of vehicle manufacturers adopting digital infrastructure services to streamline operations and integrate AI-driven tools.
HCL Technologies was founded on 11 August 1976 and is based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The company is listed on the NSE under the ticker HCLTECH and on the BSE under the code 532281.
