Closing Bell: Sensex and Nifty 50 Closed in Green, Media and Metal Stocks Shine

On November 27, 2024, both the BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 ended higher. The BSE Sensex closed at 80,234.08, up by 230.02 points or 0.29%. Similarly, the Nifty50 also closed at 24,274.90, up by 80.40 points or 0.33%.
Sectoral Performance
Nifty Media and Nifty Metal were the most gaining sectors with a rise of 0.98% and 0.79%, respectively. On the flip side, Nifty Pharma and Nifty Healthcare slipped 0.61% and 0.46%, respectively.
Top Gainers and Losers
On Monday, the top gainers on the Nifty included Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, BELTrent and NTPC. In contrast, Apollo Hospitals, Titan, Wipro, Shriram Finance and Hindalco were the top losers.
Oil Prices
As of November 27, 2024, at 03:50 PM, Brent Crude was trading at $73.14, up by 0.45%.
