Closing Bell: Nifty Closed in Red & Sensex Ended in Green; Shriram Finance Leads Gainers on December 10

On December 10, 2024, the BSE Sensex ended in green closing at 81,510.05, up by 1.59 points and NSE Nifty50 ended the day in red closing at 24,610.05, dropping by 8.95 points or 0.04%.
Sectoral Performance
On Tuesday, Nifty Media, Nifty Oil and Gas, and Nifty Pharma ended in the red. Nifty Realty, Nifty IT and Nifty PSU Bank ended in the green. Nifty Realty grew by more than 1%.
Top Gainers and Losers
On Tuesday, the top gainers on the Nifty included Shriram Finance, Bajaj Finserv and HCL Technologies. In contrast, the losers were Bharti Airtel, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories and Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone.
Oil Prices
As of December 10, 2024, at 03:30 PM, Brent Crude was trading at $72.03, down by 0.15%.
