NSE IPO Allotment Status

National Stock Exchange of India Limited, commonly known as NSE, has launched a ₹22,561.57 crore book-built mainboard IPO. The offer is entirely an offer for sale of up to 12,64,36,650 equity shares by existing shareholders. As there is no fresh issue component, NSE will not receive any proceeds from the public offering; proceeds will go to the selling shareholders.
The bidding window opened on September 17, 2026, and closes today, September 21, 2026. The basis of allotment is likely to be finalised on September 22, 2026. Refunds for unsuccessful applicants and credit of equity shares to successful applicants’ demat accounts are expected on September 23, 2026, while the shares are likely to be listed on the BSE on September 24, 2026.
The IPO has a price band of ₹1,700–₹1,785 per share and a lot size of 8 shares. At the upper price band, retail investors are required to invest a minimum of ₹14,280 for one lot.

NSE Business Overview
NSE is India’s largest stock exchange and one of the world’s largest derivatives exchanges. It operates trading, clearing and market-infrastructure platforms across equity, equity derivatives, currency derivatives, debt and other market segments. The exchange plays a central role in price discovery, liquidity formation and securities-market access in India.
