HCLTech has entered a multi-year agreement with Tokyo-based Astemo Cypremos Ltd., a subsidiary of Astemo Ltd. The collaboration will focus on developing an ecosystem for autonomous and smart vehicles. The update was shared in an exchange filing dated July 9, 2025.

As part of the deal, HCLTech will support Cypremos in its transition to a software-defined vehicle (SDV) model. The company will use its proprietary software testing tool TestSphere, AI-led service platform AI Force, and cloud engineering solution Cloud Bridge.

Tech Stack Being Deployed

TestSphere is to reduce hardware dependency and speed up validation cycles. AI Force will use generative AI to support service transformation, while Cloud Bridge will create multi-cloud validation environments for real-time testing and development.

Initial pilot tests have shown a drop in validation cycle time and improved return on investment. These systems are being built for deployment across more than 150 countries, targeting both driver-assist and fully autonomous vehicle applications.
