Thousands of farmers in Maharashtra are waiting for the benefits of the ₹36,585-crore Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Shetkari Karjmukti Yojana, but many are yet to receive the loan waiver because their AgriStack registration or Aadhaar verification is incomplete.

The Maharashtra government has approved a farm loan waiver of up to ₹2 lakh for around 56 lakh farming families. However, if your application is showing pending, unverified, or your name is missing from the beneficiary list, completing your AgriStack verification could be the key to receiving the benefit.

Why AgriStack Verification Is Important

The state government is releasing the loan waiver through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system. Before the benefit is approved, authorities verify farmers' details using information provided by 53 participating banks, Aadhaar records, and digital land records.

If you have not registered on the AgriStack platform or your Farmer ID (Kisan Pehchaan Patra) has not been verified, your application may remain on hold. Only verified beneficiaries are being included in the final disbursement list.

How to Complete Your AgriStack Verification?

If your verification is still pending, you can complete the process through either of the following methods:

  • Online: Visit the official AgriStack portal (mhfr.agristack.gov.in) and complete Aadhaar-based e-KYC.
  • Offline:Visit your nearest Aaple Sarkar Seva Kendra or Common Service Centre (CSC) with your Aadhaar card and 7/12 land extract to complete the verification process.

After successful verification, your Farmer ID is linked with your records, helping remove verification-related issues and making you eligible for the next phase of loan waiver disbursement.

How Will Delaying Registration Affect Loan Waivers?

The Maharashtra government has already started releasing benefits to eligible borrowers of cooperative and commercial banks. If your AgriStack registration is incomplete, your loan waiver could be delayed even if you otherwise qualify for the scheme.

If you are eligible for the Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Shetkari Karjmukti Yojana, complete your AgriStack verification as soon as possible to avoid delays and receive the ₹2 lakh farm loan waiver directly into your loan account.
